The whites of EXHIBERE STUDIO SS19 are stable, neutral, and rebellious.

It's quite interesting to think that if the entire world were left with only white clothes to wear, it'd be quite intriguing. Rappers don white tees, politicians don white suits, moms cooking wear white aprons, and after a shower, everyone dons comfy white pajamas... everything becomes so simple, comforting, yet each with its unique style.

Have you heard of the architect Daniel Arsham from Cleveland? Being naturally colorblind, he only sees about twenty percent of the colors the average person sees. What we perceive as red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, and violet, he sees as a mere "whitish" spectrum. As a result, his architectural designs rarely incorporate bright colors, and yet when people first see his works, they applaud and say, "Wow, so understated yet so stylish."

Style, I once read in an article, is best revealed in everyday clothing, as anyone can wear vibrant colors. If Audrey Hepburn defined the elegance of the 1950s with her iconic red, then in this bustling Reiwa era, it seems that true style emerges when everything remains pure white.

The inspiration behind Exhibere Studio's Spring-Summer 2019 collection is the precious and sincere emotions that emerged after the turn of the millennium. The collection features a consistent palette of "white and beige" with asymmetrical strap trousers and skirts, open-collar shirts, polo shirts, wide pants, buttoned jackets, hooded coats... it's as if stepping into Makoto Takimoto's "Sea Street Diary," surrounded by lush trees, blossoming fireworks, peeking yellow chrysanthemums, and an embracing blue sky. Yet, we engage with the world in pale hues, speaking without words, a silent message louder than any sound.

Furthermore, we'd like to talk about "neutrality" in fashion. Neutrality here doesn't mean having guys wear skirts and girls wear suits, not just the metaphysical unisex. It's truly implementing the freedom of Gender Free. The same white piece worn by a man and a woman would carry entirely different visual tensions. This kind of neutral allure stems from the sparks that arise from contradictions and contrasts. The Exhibere Studio SS19 collection shows how masculinity and femininity can coexist with strength and delicacy, sensibility and reason, where the interplay of yin and yang is built upon a canvas of unadulterated white. Breaking free from the constraints of gender stereotypes, it stays true to the heart's desires.

Oh, white, white, your charm truly captivates the heart.
